Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics

Click here: http://www.perimeterinstitute.ca/Outreach/Public_Lectures/Public_Lectures/

Theoretical Physics is a discipline that has continuously incited my passion. Ever since I learned about the Perimeter Institute, I wanted to come to the free public lectures they offer. I've been on their mailing list for over a year but I never actually attended because I live in Mississauga. However, due to recent geographical changes -the Perimeter is now more accessible.

The lectures they offer vary. Professors and Lecturers from a diverse background offer talks on a breadth of subjects.

I've been in the building once -from an architectural/engineering perspective -it's rather incredible.

If enough people from our class are interested -I would consider organizing a trip so we could all go together.

sweatshirts.

With the fair trade brand, the cost will be $40/shirt (embroidered, not screened).
We will be collecting the money and placing orders throughout this week, so come see us if you're interested.

(I personally think the existing design lacks in creativity ...perhaps someone should design a newer, more innovative one for the next time we do this?)

Cheers for Engineers.

orders from the overseers

Hello Everyone,

First and foremost, we would like to say that we are humbled to be elected your Class Representatives. Aisha and I will be in charge of planning events, introducing you to exciting actvities and trying to help the class engage in the University of Waterloo community at large.

In order to do this efficiently, we decided to host a blog in the ever-familiar realm of cyber-space. All announcements will be made on this forum, so we encourage you to subscribe.

Furthermore, it is crucial for us to have your email addresses. To submit your email, click on the "comments" button for this post and type your full name and email address.

We can not express how much we appreciate your cooperation.

Thanks.
